Do you have any idea how hard it is...

to cry without letting kids see?

Saint Cat, you put "The Funeral" on the second CD, and now I am bawling. How is any of the music you burned supposed to make either of us feel any better?! No wonder we're both such wrecks. BeeTeeDubya: Fleet Foxes' "Your Protector" isn't exactly the perkiest little tune, either, Chica. But then again, the Devotchka one cracks me up (but somehow still keeps the tears flowing, damn!) because it reminds me of the giant "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK" scene, the freaky competition, and Alan Arkin talking about underage sex. So thank you.

Patrick Watson's "Drifters" is making me want to throw some undies and toothbrush into a bag and do a long, lost, meandering roadtrip with my arm out the window, head back, and eyes closed. Interested? Anyway, thanks for that one; I've never even heard of him. Reminds me of driving through the Guelph countryside with an old girlfriend with Radiohead pouring through the speakers one Easter vacation, a few months before her dad died.

Hope you're having an amazing time, but please come back soon, SC. Please help me turn off the waterworks.
